The Sports Girls love Sunday’s, as we believe that it is the sexiest day of the week!  What is wrong with good-looking females liking to feel sexy?  Absolutely nothing from what our followers have told us.  Do you have a problem with sexy females that know their sports?  If you do you might as well stop reading now.  If not we would like to inform the readers of The Sports Girls blog that there are only ten more weeks until the NFL season drives millions of people to the stadium and to flat screens and sports bars everywhere!  Regrettably there have been some not so sexy news this week in the National Football League.

There has been a plethora of news this past week within the National Football League, and unfortunately, most of it has not been good.  Former tight end of the New England Patriots, Aaron Hernandez was denied bail this week, and to make matters worse for him the 2.5 million dollars he was to receive may not happen.  Hernandez was to receive $2.5 million in guaranteed base salaries over the next two seasons, and his contract does not have language to void that money if he fails to practice. However, the New England Patriots believe the Collective Bargaining Agreement should cover them because he has engaged in conduct unbecoming after being arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd.  They also voided his one million dollar work out bonus that he was to get over the next two years.  We sports girls are still in shock over what this man has done, and he will be spending his sexy Sunday’s behind bars for a very long time.

Marc Sanchez was trying to get his sexy on last week with his “butt” video sensation.  Mark Sanchez's latest alleged "butt" video doesn't make him a wicked guy. There's nothing wrong with a late night of listening to mediocre dance music while sharing the company of attractive area females wanting to party in the off-season right?  I don’t know how the Jets coaching staff feels about this playful activity however it looks like Geno Smith is looking like he may get to become a starting quarter back in the National Football League after all.  We would love to hear your thoughts on this issue.  Personally, I doubt a little buns hurts anybody as long as they can do their job during the season.  However, Marc has not had a stellar career as the starting quarter back for the Jets, and it may be best if he keeps his pants on!

The off-season arrests seem to be endless this year.  In a week filled with off-the-field drama, we're not in the clear just yet.
Indianapolis Colts safety Joe Lefeged was arrested early Saturday in Washington, D.C., on multiple gun-related charges after fleeing from authorities, Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson Araz Alali told NFL.com and NFL Network.
The 25-year-old Lefeged was traveling in a vehicle around 12:05 a.m. ET, with Aaron Timothy Wilson, 23, when police attempted to stop them. Following a chase, both men were arrested, Alali confirmed. The gun was a .40 caliber, according to a police report obtained by NFL.com.
A preliminary hearing for Lefeged is scheduled for Tuesday, per The Associated Press. The charges include carrying a firearm without a license, unregistered firearm, unregistered ammunition, presence of a firearm in a motor vehicle and possession of an open container of alcohol, Alali said. Lefeged is from Germantown, Md.; a town located about 30 miles from D.C.
The Colts signed Lefeged as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He's scheduled to earn $555,000 this season in the final year of his contract.  Why are these athletes ruining their lives?

UPDATE: The Colts released the following statement Saturday afternoon regarding Lefeged's situation.
"We are aware of the reports regarding Joe Lefeged in Washington, D.C.," the statement read. "At this time, we will have no further comment on the pending matter until we gain more information."
There are several more crazy stories that have been released this week, but it is sexy Sunday and I can think of a million more activities that I would rather be doing right not then harp on them all.  The Sports Girls LLC want to thank everybody that is contributing to our concussion awareness campaign, and spreading the word on our upcoming television series “The Inside Score.”  If you want more information on anything that we are doing please go to www.thesportsgirls.com and please leave us comments.
It is Sexy Sunday!  Go out and enjoy!

The Sports Girls Gospel on HEAT FINALS Game 2

I am live at AAA watching the teams warm up for what may be the biggest game of the Miami HEAT organization's 2013 year thus far.  Is it a coincidence that 21 years ago from today Michael Jordan had the best second half of NBA final history?  Can Lebron James have a similar experience tonight?

As I sit on the sideline and watch these two teams prepare for a win there are a few things that I have noticed.  Dwayne Wade's knee is not one hundred percent.  I have watched this man play basketball for years now, and there is something that is off.  If you were coaching an NBA team in the finals would you play one of your all stars for thirty minutes or more each game if you knew he was not up to par?  I also see that the Spur's organization is as Randy Jackson says, "In it to win it"!  The Miami Heat need to regain their identity as the world champions before tipoff.   They need to turn their aggression towards the loss on Thursday into positive energy, and take the lead in the first quarter.

Tony Parker and Tim Duncan are no joke.  The final shot Parker made in game one was immaculate.  Earlier in the season the media was asking who in the NBA can go up against Lebron James?  Obviously, Tony Parker is one man that has no fear.   The Spurs will continue to try and force the ball out of the hands of Lebron James while pushing the tempo to allow Parker to score like Gordie Howe on speed.

This will be another one for the record books folks.  The HEAT have had two days to prepare to battle the Spurs tonight however, a loss will take Miami into San Antonio for the next three games.  More Later.  Enjoy the game.

Much Love~

The Sports Girls Gospel on HEAT VS PACERS GAME 6

The Sports Girls Gospel on Game 3 HEAT VS PACERS
Day 6-1-13
Time 7:20 PM
Music: Sexual Seduction "Snoop LION or DOG"
Quote: "HEAT IN SIX"

Many are wondering how the Miami Heat ended up in this situation.  How in the world did they let the Pacers force them into a Game six of this series?  Most people would have to admit that when the Miami Heat are one game away from winning a round in the Finals their playing strategy can be defined in one word. "FIERCE".  We intend to see a battle like World War II in Indianapolis tonight.  With the wins alternating in this series from the Heat to the Pacers the last five games, coach Spoelstra is not looking to have a Game 7.  That means a Heat win is mandatory!   The Pacers lost game six in the final last year on home court against Miami and they are going to do their best to ensure history is not repeated.

"It's about effort," Pacers center Roy Hibbert said. "It's about who wants it more, who wants to get that offensive rebound, who wants to get that blocked shot, who wants to get the loose ball. We just have to come out with more determination. It's not anything the coaches can tell us, it's about what's in here. It's lose or go home right now." **Courtesy Tim Renolds AP**

Many fans of the Heat are wondering what is wrong with Dwayne Wade?  Will he have a fantastic winner moment in this series?  As if to add insult to injury, Chris Andersen has been suspended for Game 6 and will not be playing in this battle for the Eastern Conference Title this evening.   He knocked the Pacers Forward Tyler Hansbrough in game 5 and the altercation ended with coach Spoelstra pulling the "Birdman" away from Hansbrough.   Andersen has not missed a shot in the playoffs since Game 4 against the Chicago Bulls, and you have to wonder if they can win without him this evening?  He is fifteen for fifteen against the vivacious Pacers.  The entire Heat organization functions like a steam roller, flattening anyone or anything that gets in their way.  West is a bigger obstacle than the Miami Heat have seen in a long time.   If the entire Pacers organization were to be put into a desolate cave with only one member finding the exit, West would survive.

No matter the outcome of the contest this evening, most analyst experts think that the Miami Heat will win the series, and move to the finals against The San Antionio Spurs on Thursday.   Coach Spoelstra likes to keep his team in the moment, and this is just another day of work for the Miami Heat.  Even while their winning streak was breaking records, the team remained humble.

The Sports Girls LLC truly hope that the Miami Heat can pull out a win this evening however we feel fairly confident that the Miami Heat will be facing the San Antonio Spurs in the finals next Thursday.

Enjoy the Game
