Alan Amron

Alan is the Chairman and Founder of First Down Laser.  First Down Laser Line extends the concept of the computer generated "yellow line" seen during the broadcast of a football game. Developed to augment the cumbersome implements of the chain gang, Amron's "Green Line" can be seen from anywhere in the stadium and on the field by the players. Controlled by the officials, the First Down Laser Line performs as the official guideline on which all line calls are based. The line can be filmed, providing both the officials and the home viewer with an accurate instant replay.   Alan worked with the late Pat Summerall, The Signature Voice in Sports Broadcasting to bring a revolutionary experience for football fans all over the world.  Former NFL Coaches Jim Fassel and Dennis Green got to see first hand, at the Citrus Bowl how this works.  First Down laser may provide player safety, faster more accurate ball placements and officially more accurate first down line calls.  The fans will love it.
