The Sports Girls A HEAD OF THE GAME DOCUMENTARY

The Sports Girls A HEAD OF THE GAME DOCUMENTARY
Day 5-28-13
Time 11:00 PM
Music: RAIN "MADONNA"
Quote: We can help others or we can look away and pretend

I can't tell you how important this blog post is to me.  I have been working on this for over a year.  I have spent hours on research, contacts, and ultimately relationships.   This project, "A Head Of The Game", is a 1/2 hour documentary that will focus on concussion awareness within the National Football League.  We filmed a Public Service Announcement, and I highly encourage you to take a look at it.  It is only a two minute video.

URL:  http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/nfl-concussions-a-head-of-the-game/x/635075

We are working daily with various athletes', coaches, neurology experts, and people that suffer from CTE every day.  This issue is a serious topic for the NFL, and we realize Roger Goodell is doing a lot of great things for current athletes.  What about the athletes' that are not getting pensions or medical benefits?  I could talk about this all day long, but please click on the link above to review the campaign.  It is all there..  WE care and we hope that you will forward the above link to every person you know.  If you know somebody that is suffering from repeated concussions please have them contact me at thesportsgirls@aol.com.  We may feature them in our documentary.

Help us get this shot and produced..

Much love and Thank you

The Sports Girls Gospel on Game 3 Miami HEAT VS PACERS

The Sports Girls Gospel on Game 3 HEAT VS PACERS
Day 5-26-13
Time 2:00 PM
Music: Drop It Like It's Hot "Snoop LION or DOG"
Quote: "GIVE TO LIVE"

Game 2 left the HEAT fans in the stands panting like a dog that has been outside in the South Florida heat without any water for two days.  To say that the loss was a shocker is an under statement.  This series is about two teams that are trying to prevent each other from obtaining the same goal.  WINNING.  Frank Vogel's Pacers are no joke.  Yes, the Miami Heat has overcome many critical obstacles this year including a not one hundred percent healthy Dwayne Wade averaging more than 30 minutes per game however, this war will continue on.  Synergy Sports reports that The Pacers use 19 post-ups per game and that is more than any team.

The HEAT want to take that from the mighty Pacers and force Roy Hibbert and David West to rethink their strategy.  The Miami Heat offense is always on the attack.   Vogel's defense is starting to pick up on their precious strategy.  The way for the HEAT to win Game 3 in Indy is to force turnovers that result in baskets.  Too many Pacer turnovers have resulted in the players gaining momentum only to miss the points that count.  With San Antonio ahead of Memphis in the Western Conference Finals 3-0, the likely hood of a HEAT VS SPURS final is looming in the air like the smog in Los Angeles.

Lebron James is most defiantly the best player in the NBA today, however the HEAT must have a good first quarter in order to win game three.   What did head coach Erik Spoelstra have to say?  "If you don't prepare for it and have a game plan and a system and habits, they will absolutely pound you."  (Courtesy of Couper Moorhead Miami Heat News).   The Sports Girls will be eagerly watching game 3 with hopes that Lebron James has another 30+ game with a possible Triple Double.   Miami needs to get rebounds, hit from downtown, and take control of this game early.

I will see you all at game Five in Miami..   Until then LET'S GO HEAT!

Your Truly and forever

The Sports Girls Gospel on Future Moments in Sports History and shout out to Marshall Faulk's event

The Sports Girls Gospel on Future Moments in Sports History and Marshall's event!
Day 5-16-13
Time 10:00 PM
Music: This Crap that is on American Idol because my husband needs to see who wins!  PitBull the only good thing!
Mood: BLESSED beyond belief
Quote: "HEAT will REPEAT in the 305"

So I must comment that I have been trying to watch this Knicks game and my husband keeps putting American Idol on.   At least I got to see Mr. 305 with Jennifer Lopez the best talent this show has had all year thus far for two minutes.  I can go to sleep and feel like my time was not wasted.    I am sure I will see both of them at the "Flagship Lounge" at the upcoming HEAT finals!   Glad this Idol crap is finally done this evening...Congratulations Candice.   You will be the next Jennifer Hudson. BLAH BLAH BLAH

I must say that I am very honored to have witnessed history this playoff season in Miami.  Most of all, and the best part of the games for me have been the Fox Sun Sports post interviews with Jason Jackson and the one and only John Crotty on Heat Live.   It is simply breath taking watching those two break down the semantics of these HEAT games.  I have seen interviews live with Miller, Wade, Haslem, BIRDMAN,"Caw-Caw-Caw" and of course, the MVP himself; Lebron James.  The intricate detail, immaculate content and snarky comments made by this duo can make a cave man come out of his one star crib to pay attention.  Jason can ad-lib a play sequence like Tom Brady can throw 60 yard spirals.  It is real entertainment.  I CAN'T WAIT TO BE PART OF IT!  Ok, I may not exactly be doing CROTTY'S CUTS, but I want to get both of these top broadcasting experts in on our "Inside Score" premiere. We will showcase the foundations, and positive events some of these athletes work so hard on to accomplish.  Show you what it takes to be a broadcaster!  Oh Yeah Baby!

First, The HEAT has a mere 8 games to REPEAT in the Dirty South.  Blessed to witness game five last night at the AAA.  My ears are still ringing, and I made many new great friends including a very WELL KNOWN PGA golfer.   ( You have to love the Dewar's Club at the AAA).  We shall be court side for one of the HEAT Finals games so keep your eyes peeled boys and girls.  Yes, I will be the one in white.  (Snow, Egg shell, Pure White, or just plain white.)   Mr. PGA golfer who I shall not name I am counting on you for this.. You are the celebrity.....

There are so many upcoming events in Sports that I must attend.   The 2013 NFL Professional Hall Of Fame Enshrinement, HEAT finals, 2013 Miami Dolphins training camp, and the ESPY's.  Does anybody want to clone me?  In all honesty there are a lot of upcoming events that intrigue me to no mans land.  I am extremely excited for Miami Dolphins Training Camp to start.  What are your thoughts pertaining to Mike Wallace?  Davon Bess is leaving the sunshine state for snow and ice in a state where dogs pee on the side walks. Cleveland. Notice any irony here?  Lebron leaves Cleveland and comes to Miami and a GOLDMINE follows!  BESS to Cleveland = Too Be Determined.  In between the Training Camp Sessions I am hoping that my inside main man HG with the Dolphins will see how much The Sports Girls have grown our business in just 9 months.  I NEED YOU HG!  He is the best at his job..  I mean that.  I will not sneak any pretty girls up in the media area I PROMISE! We are there to WORK!  Ok, sorry we got a little off of the topic here...

More on Hall of Fame Enshrinement next blog..  Too many details to work out with The Inside Score as some peeps from the NFL Network are being very very very kind to me.  Still working out the deets!

Where will Tebow go?  TRUE:  He is wanted in the AFL.  FALSE:  He wants to go.  In addition, So many players retiring because they are basically being thrown out of the NFL.  Hint?  He was to be a JET this year.  Injured knee and finally retiring after nine years in the NFL. Still don't know?  E-Mail me.

Dirty Sanchez it looks like you may just get one more season.   Geno Smith could do what Mark thinks he can do in his sleep with some practice.   Sorry Bro...  EJ Manuel in Buffalo?  YOU GO WITH YOUR BAD SELF!  The USC QB didn't end up where he thought he would be.... Wow that rhymed.

Keep in mind that these are just random thoughts that pop into my head.  I am not looking at stats in most of these blogs, and just like to get reactions and see if there are as many sports freaks out there as I am.  This is not rocket science HOWEVER I DID PICK THE HEAT IN FIVE THE DAY I FOUND OUT THEY WERE PLAYING THE BULLS..  Yes males and females reading this, I indeed picked my nose. Just kidding.

Well, now that I have put my fingers to work I hope that you will forward to your friends and give me your ADVICE!

OOHHH - If you are at the Marshall Faulk Celebrity Championship Red Carpet Reception tonight GIVE OUT THAT MONEY!  OPEN YOUR WALLETS AND GIVE TO HIS CHARITY!  www.marshallfaulk.com. I told you that there are good, charitable, honest retired athletes out there.  He is one of them.  GIVE TO LIVE!!

Will give more updates soon and HEAT recaps from the finals..  Pics and more fascinating information coming...

The Sports Girls Gospel on WHAT IS GOING ON IN NFL and More

The Sports Girls Gospel on What is Going On In The NFL and More
Day 5-2-13
Time 10:13 PM
Music: Freshman "The Verve Pipe"
Mood: Busier than a Bee making a Hive
Quote: Give to Live!  Then Give again.

Hello my fellow readers of The Sports Girls Blog.  I know that it has been awhile, but I have been one busy Sports Girl.  I am working on the final details for the filming of The Inside Score, doing radio/podcast shows all over the USA at night, searching and holding auditions for #TSGTV, and helping veterinary leaders in South Florida chose the best products for their practice during the day.   Needless to say, I have and need to drink a different flavor Keurig flavor coffee daily.  Yes, I know the picture above shows a lot of coffee, but I crave different flavors just like NFL players crave different women.

Speaking of the NFL, the 2013 Draft was intriguing to say the least.  Can you believe how many offensive tackle positions went in the first round?  The experts say the most improved QB this year is Ryan T the Miami Dolphins rookie however, I will believe it when I see it.   The NFL never sleeps.  There are more trades, deals, and surprises to come within the next week.   I am privy to some inside information regarding one of the former JETS players that was recently released.   I need to keep my mouth shut, and trust me, it is very difficult knowing what I know.  My source will never tell me anything again if I leak this story so I will keep my word.   One week will not hurt you will it? I highly doubt it.

Justin B was suspended for four games today for violating the NFL substance abuse policy.   That just blows my mind.   Really?   You are an NFL player and a role model for many yet you decide it is OK to do drugs in the off season?  Again, some NFL people think that they are untouchable and beyond punishment.   The Sports Girls are going to showcase the athletes that are opposite of our friend Justin.  Our new series "The Inside Score", is going to feature well known NFL players that do so much for their community and help so many others.  I would like to hear from my loyal TSG followers on this blog, FB, twitter, and all social media as to whom you would like to see featured on the new show.   We are doing this the right way and believe me putting together a brand new pilot for television is A LOT OF WORK.   More news on #TSGTV to come before the 2013 Pro Football Hall Of Fame Enshrinement.   I look forward to filming in Canton, and am very proud of the 2013 class.  (Hola Mr. Warren Sapp)  If you are reading this you owe me a bag or Doritos.  (Think 2011 Hall of Fame Enshrinement in the Green Room....)  The golf cart?  The rain?  You will remember.   If not, just ask Prime although I highly doubt he has a clue of what I am talking about.

It has been a wonderful month.  I apologize for not embracing you with my intriguing yet interesting  stories the past few weeks, but as I said, I am working 14-16 hours a day with all of my projects.   I promise to BLOG more often.   Let me know what you have been up to.

Thanks for reading!
Going to have a sleepy time tea now.
Big day tomorrow.   BIVI, 5pm talk with major talent agency in NYC, and finalizing my NEW BOOK TO BE PUBLISHED ON SMASHWORDS.  OH yes, I forgot to mention that I am finishing my 2nd published book.   YEAH BABY!!!

See ya when I see ya......

The Sports Girls Gospel on WINNING THE LOTTERY!!

The Sports Girls Gospel on The BIG WIN
Day 4-6-13
Time 2:13 PM
Music: Music "Madonna"
Mood: Joyful
Quote: Give to Live!

So it finally happened today!  I won the Florida lottery!  Ok, not the entire amount, but did get 4 out of 6 numbers accurate, and won $77.50!  I am very excited as I hand picked these numbers myself.   It got me thinking about what I would do if I won seven figures.  The answer is simple.  First, and foremost I would pay the taxes up front.  Second, I would call Oprah and tell her that I am going to donate half, yes I mean half of the winnings to the charity that needs it the most.  We would have a nation wide television search for the charity that needs the funds the greatest.   I have a few in mind that I work with now, The Marshall Faulk Foundation, IPromise (Lebron James), Warrick Dunn, and the Humane Society would get a few hundred thousand.  The rest would go to the charity that convinces me they are doing the right thing.  In fact, I most likely will donate half of the $77.50 to the Marshall Faulk Foundation when I send them their next check from the Nation Wide Sports Girls Contest on www.thesportsgirls.com.   Third, I would open a 503-C and create The Sports Girls Care Foundation and create the most unique charity in the world.  (More details to come as we finish shooting "The Inside Score" television series.)   I am blessed to have so many friends, family, my health, wealth, and amazing life.  I would never need or spend all of the winnings on my own.  If you won the lottery what would you do with the winnings?

It is Final Four weekend, and personally I am hoping that Louisville crushes Wichita State, and Michigan gets the win over Syracuse.  (Sorry Mia).  Our thoughts and prayers are still growing for Kevin Ware, who had a horrific, career breaking injury last weekend.  I couldn't even imagine the pain that poor kid had to go through, and the path to recovery he must endeavor upon.  I will not be watching the games however, I have an event at The Florida Panther Hockey arena that I am needed at.   I will make sure to Uverse the games so please don't tweet me the scores LOL.   I don't want to know until I can watch the both later this evening.  I hope everybody enjoys Final Four weekend, and don't drink and drive.  I am going to finish cleaning out my closet as I am donating over half of my wardrobe to various charity and organizations in need this weekend.

May everyone win the lottery once!  I should rephrase that....  May you win the lottery if you choose to share the wealth with those that need it the most..

SLAM DUNK!

Much love,
Beth

The Sports Girls HEAT STREAK

The Sports Girls Gospel on The HEAT 27 game winning streak
Day 3-27-13
Time 10:55pm
Music: Hello Good Morning "Diddy"
Mood: Proud
Quote: Nobody is perfect all of the time!

To all of my readers it has been a wonderful day,  (Let's Go Heat)

I know the Miami Heat Fans are not too happy at this very moment due to the loss against Chicago however, we need to remember, "The Heat is the Best team in the NBA".  Eight weeks, 53 nights, 13 road games, 17 home games, and the 2nd longest winning streak in NBA history.   What a ride.  It is actually just beginning....

I myself, am very proud of the entire Miami Heat organization.   Always remember your goals.  I personally have hit every goal of mine I have set for myself this year so far.  What are your personal goals?  There may be a bump in your road, but keep in mind you have those 22" run fast tires.  You can just cruise right on over it.  I guarantee you witnessed history if you were paying attention to the Miami Heat streak.  The streak was amazing, but the goal is to win TWO championships.  Congratulations to my friends, and all of the Heat members on and off the court.

Excited for the Sweet 16?  My four teams are still alive in the bracket "Fox Sports presents The Sports Girls NCAA Bracket".  Are you part of our bracket team?  It has been a fun, long, amazing birthday for me today.  I am not omniscient, but I predict MSU vs Miami in the Championship game.  What about you?  Enjoy the video that I had to put up due to losing a bet with a Hall of Fame NFL friend of mine.....

Until my next inspirational moment....   Live, Love, and GIVE!!!

Yours Truly,
The Original Sports Girl

The Sports Girls Gospel on HEAT HISTORY

The Sports Girls Gospel on HEAT HISTORY

Date: 3-15-13
Time:  11:25pm
Mood:  Very Very excited
Music:  Crystal Fighters "Star of Love"
Quote:  There can only be One number 1
Body By VI Shake of the day:  Chocolate Cream Pie

So I have not written anything since the night before the Miami Heat Vs. Atlanta Hawks Game.  The HEAT players and staff have had my tongue tied and fingers crossed for the last five days.   I got home at 1:00a.m. after the LIVE filming of the "Heat Live" Post Game show with Jason Jackson and crew.   If you have never watched "Heat Live" on Fox Sun Sports, I highly advise that you do.  The show is very intriguing as Jax can ad-lib better than a penguin can slide on the snow and ice.   After spending time with Jax, the camera crew, the Udonis interview, and the post game antics I was ready to run a marathon.  Thanks to my peeps that came with me to the game...

I know everyone that is not a Miami Heat fan is getting sick of all of they hype, but I ensure you that sitting on the court watching the game as if I were able to reach out and touch "Birdman's" mohawk put it all into perspective for me.   Even if you dislike the HEAT, you cannot deny the talent is super duper special.

There is electricity in that arena unlike anywhere I have ever been before.  (This is not even the playoffs.)  It is like that every single game.  Television does not do it justice.  I am telling you that even if you had the worst day of your life you would smile the minute the infamous flames ignite the AAA.  I am going to every home game that there is left.   I will not miss one unless I am in the ER.  If you have a chance to go to a HEAT game in your life time and you have never been, I encourage you to DO IT!  Tonight's game put the Miami Heat in the NBA record books on several accounts.  They have the 3rd best winning streak in the NBA of all time with #21inarow.  Hashtag it, Live It, Love it, as it is done.  The HEAT organization has won 50 games this season.  107-94 was the final score tonight just in case you are not paying attention.

The HEAT have hit 21 wins in a row and 9 straight road game wins.  Lebron and Bosh both had 28 points and WADE had 20 points after an injury scare early in the game.  Is there any team that can stop this sensation?  I really like how their entire coaching staff is so humble.   They do not relish on the fact that they are making history.  They do not brag that they are the best team in the NBA.  They simply take each game as if it were the first game of the season.  The only thing that is expected of them is a win.  That is how you get to be the best.  As I quoted myself at the top of this page, "There can only be One number 1".  That #1 is the Miami HEAT.

Next blog will be all NFL news, gossip, and more..   We will give you more great HEAT news and broadcast live from the next home game against The Pistons a week from tonight.

Good night ALL!  Please post comments if you can.   I am not sure I allow comments as I am still trying to figure out how this blog thing works.   I did see that my posts have had over 993 views so IF YOU ARE READING THIS THANK YOU!  PASS THE BLOG ALONG TO YOUR FRIENDS.  WE WILL BE GIVING AWAY TICKETS FROM THIS BLOG VERY SOON.

P.S.  Now that Jeff Ireland and the Miami dolphins spent close to $100 Mil the last four days I have decided to renew my season tickets in the 3rd row on the field.  I also may have FORD FIELD passes for the season.  LOVE the NBA, but worship the NFL.....
